Today I found this seemingly babied !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . In fact, it might be the cleanest one left in existence. But is it worth $1500?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Inside is just as clean as the outside. No rips, dents, or any blemishes. AC works and the car supposedly drives great.
Is this classic (at least in the state of Florida) worth $1500? Let me know!

probably still worth 1500 as a car with working ac down there, but that things paint is way too beat to be thought of as the cleanest one left. There is a shadow vert around town that is "stunning" in grey metallic

All the nopes. Also technically not a classic in Florida until it hits 30.

This is what you want - Actually a classic, brown, wagon, MURICA, etc

At this price point, the only two things that really matter are:
1. Will it get me from point A to B in a somewhat reliable and affordable fashion?
2. Can I transfer the title and register it with one stop at the DMV and insure it with one phone call to my insurance co?
This Shadow seems to meet both points. In fact, it would make the ultimate 1st car for a new driver in high school: cheap, easy to fix, and slow.

It does, but there are so many better cars that fit that description at this price point. I picked up my MR2 for a grand. It's an MR2, so automatically a billion times better at 2/3 the price. I didn't have to do anything to it. I chose to rebuild the suspension and do a ton of other racecar things to it because that's what I bought it for, but cheap doesn't mean it has to be miserable.

I used to own one. I wouldn't take it if the seller gave me $1500 AND the car.

"1988 dodge shadow runs and drives great cold a/c no mechanical issues"
Why can't sellers be bothered to write a decent ad? Whole sentences and use of punctuation would go a long way to build a bit more confidence in the buyer. I guess he did hit all the major points in only 12 words.

Is it worth $1500? Absolutely. Would I ever consider paying $1500 for it? Absolutely not.

I had a '91 Shadow ES TurboVert. It was surprisingly fun for the short time I owned it.

That's an 89 or 90. Shadow/Sundance didn't lose the sealed-beams until 89 . I had an 88.

It really depends on the car. I had a 92 shadow and it was a great car. Lived until 2004 with 174k and the engine seized. Gave the car away and the next person put a new engine in it and totaled it. Correct me if Im wrong but I believe these cars have Mitsubishi Engines in them. Ive heard some pretty bad things about chrysler cars let alone Mitsubishi. Theres a reason why you dont see mitsubishi's from the 90's anymore. I also had a 97 caravan. It was nothing but problems. The engine went at 40k, 2 weeks out of warrenty, the trans went at 100k, and there was about a problem every 3-5 months. The shadow on the other hand only had some minor things like two hose leaks and I believe water leaks into the cabin. I do remember the car being a major battery sucker. If you left it sitting for a week, you need a recharge. Most of these cars did not make it to 200k and the ones that did wont make it much farther. But it really depends if the car was treated right and how much exactly is on the car. If its more then 150k then your probably running a risk.
